Good
Shepherd Shelter
A Place to
Heal After Violence Strikes at Home
5/06/05 - The Hot Moms Club along with our sponsors
Paul Mitchell, Stila Cosmetics, True Meaning and
Bamko just finished our second makeover event for
Mother's Day. The mothers, victims of domestic
abuse, at the Good Shepherd Shelter (not to be
confused with the Good Shepherd Center, they are non
affiliated), were overjoyed to receive makeup from
Stila & makeup lessons, haircuts, hairstyling and
products from Paul Mitchell, as well as awesome
blazers from True Meaning and other products from
Bamko.
The
mothers were overjoyed and nearly in tears at the
end of the event. It was a beautiful day, to share
this experience with them and to see how happy they
were with their "new" look!
We
will continue to provide these makeovers on a
quarterly basis to The Good Shepherd Center (for
homeless mothers & children) as well as to The Good
Shepherd Shelter (for mothers and children involved
in domestic abuse). If you would like to donate your
services, products or time please contact us at

Good Shepherd Shelter
A Place to
Heal After Violence Strikes at Home
4/17/05 - Our first of many events like this!! Thank
you Paul Mitchell, Stila Cosmetics and True Meaning!
We are so excited to announce that we successfully
finished our first charity event. The event was held
at The Good Shepherd Center Mother and Child
Residence in Los Angeles.
The
Hot Moms Club along with our sponsors Paul Mitchell,
Stila Cosmetics, True Meaning and Bamko provided
makeovers for the mothers of the center. The moms
were pampered for the day with manicures, makeup
lessons, haircuts & hairstyling lessons, personal
wardrobe & styling tips as well as receiving
products from the sponsors. It was so amazing to see
the difference and how the energy shifted from when
we first got there to when the mothers were done
with their makeovers!
While the mothers were being pampered the children
were having fun molding their footprints and making
chalk along with cards as a special gifts for their
moms. They got to enjoy doing several different
activities and playing games with the Hot Moms Club.
It was a blast!!
This event has inspired us to create Have More
Compassion the official charity of the Hot Moms
Club. We will continue to support amazing
organizations for women. This was such a success
that we will continue to provide these makeovers on
a quarterly basis to The Good Shepherd Center (for
homeless mothers & children) as well as to The Good
Shepherd Shelter (for mothers and children involved
in domestic abuse). If you would like to donate your
services, products or time please contact us at
